Job summary

Jaya Grocer is seeking an Assistant Operations Bakery - Distribution Centre Kota Damansara to manage bakery administration and procurement across outlets, central kitchen, and HQ. You will handle daily data entry, stock takes, and reporting while preparing documents such as BOMs, recipes, and costings.

The role also covers display quality control, HR-related processes, meeting minutes, and adherence to SOPs and halal compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• To manage administration work such as stock take counting and reporting.
• Prepare and manage documents such as PO, costing, pricing, BOM, recipes.
• Monitor daily display pictures for quality and volume.
• Support HR processes including staff movement and headcount.

Responsibilities

• Key in data daily, weekly, and monthly with accuracy.
• Handle stock takes and generate sales, margin, disposal, GRN reports.
• Edit purchasing documents including PO, supplier, promotions, and costing.
• Assist in outlet launches, supplier visits, and ad-hoc projects.
• Attend meetings and take minutes; ensure SOPs and halal compliance.
• Address operation issues and uphold safety and quality standards.

Assistant Operations Bakery - Distribution Centre Kota Damansara

To manage administration related in Bakery operation & procurement at the outlets, central kitchen and HQ level in order to make sure department is running smooth.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for keying and in data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis accurately
• To manage administration work such as managing stock take count, daily, weekly, monthly & annual reporting - sales, margin, disposal & GRN, production, etc.
• Prepare and manager documents and reports such as SKU, supplier, promotion, edit PO, costing, pricing, BOM, Recipes, stock take etc
• To monitor daily display pictures sent by outlet; quality & volume display
• Manage the HR related process such as staff movement, helpers, headcount & promotion
• Participate in meeting and take the minutes of meeting accordingly
• Manage any operation issues & challenges including safety & SOPs, compliance, engagement and customer complaint and halal compliance
• To support outlet launch, supplier visit, new project and event related to bakery
• Perform any other duties in general operational functions and ad-hoc assignments.

You should have

• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management or any relevant field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative or clerical roles
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Customer satisfaction oriented.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
