Job summary

Jaya Grocer is seeking a dynamic and passionate Kitchen Crew member to be a core part of our brand-new F&B section in Malaysia. You will execute daily kitchen operations—from food preparation and maintaining strict hygiene standards to ensuring every dish served meets our high-quality benchmarks.

You will work closely with the Outlet Leader and Managers to deliver a seamless, delicious dining experience for our customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Leader Role experience in F&B operations, restaurant, café, or food production environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - operations, executives, and suppliers
• Hands-on, capability in following SOP while open to new menu ideals and suggestions

Responsibilities

• FOH Operations: Oversee daily FOH operations, ensure smooth workflow and coordination between stations, maintain fast and consistent services
• Drinks & Dessert Quality & Consistency: Ensure all drinks & dessert meet brand standards & SOP; maintain consistency in taste, portion, and presentation; conduct daily quality check
• Speed of Service: Ensure Drinks is served within target timing; identify and solve bottlenecks in service flow
• Cost Control: Manage drinks & dessert cost within target; control wastage, stock usage, and portioning; monitor daily inventory & ordering
• Team Management: Lead, train, and manage service staff; ensure discipline, cleanliness, SOP compliance; manage staff scheduling and productivity; ensure hygiene standards

Key Responsibilities:

• FOH Operations
  Oversee daily FOH operations
  Ensure smooth workflow and coordination between stations

• Drinks & Dessert Quality & Consistency
  Ensure all Drinks & Dessert meets brand standards & SOP
