The Assistant Production Manager supports the overall management of manufacturing operations — covering Production, Planning and Maintenance— ensuring daily operations meet quality, delivery, and cost targets while upholding safety, health, and environmental standards.
Responsible for manufacturing operations, including Production, Planning and Maintenance functions.
Manage and ensure daily production operations meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Monitor production schedules and adjust plans to address bottlenecks, downtime, or resource constraints.
Supervise subordinates to achieve department goals in line with the Company's values and standards.
Evaluate and manage staff performance, including coaching, development, and addressing performance gaps.
Foster a disciplined, accountable, and collaborative work environment within the production team.
Maintain close cooperation with relevant departments (Quality, Planning, Maintenance, Supply Chain, etc.) and corporate level to meet department goals and objectives.
Escalate and communicate production issues that require cross-departmental or management-level attention.
Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment, preferably within the agrochemical, chemical, or related process industry.
Prior experience in a supervisory or team-lead role, with demonstrated people management capability.
Familiarity with quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and production planning principles.
