Job summary

Genki Sushi Malaysia is hiring for a Procurement and Supply Chain role, based at Sunway Velocity V Office with hybrid work. You will oversee inventory, supplier relations, PO issuance, master data in ERP, and demand planning to ensure smooth store operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in supply chain, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong ERP proficiency. Fluency in English is an advantage for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain or business is required.
• 3–5 years in supply chain related role, preferably in F&B.
• Proficiency in ERP systems is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; English is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance cost-effectiveness with meeting demands, minimizing storage cost and stockouts.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability and performance in accordance to service agreement.
• Conduct regular cost review and supplier performance review.
• Work cross functionally to coordinate food sampling and food tasting sessions.
• Manage PO issuance via ERP system according to company’s policy.
• Manage and maintain master data set up in the ERP system.
• Analyse statistical data and generate forecasting solutions based on historic data, market trends, and sales forecast obtained from cross functional stakeholders.
• Track & analyze key supply chain KPIs, including but not limited to inventory cover, fill rate, forecast accuracy, cost of goods sold
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall supply chain performance.

2.Procurement and Vendor Management:

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability and performance in accordance to service agreement.

3.Logistics and Distribution:

• Manage 3rd party logistics provider’s performance to ensure accurate and timely delivery of inventory to the stores.
• Work closely with 3rd party logistics provider to ensure incoming shipments are managed timely.

4.Demand and Supply Planning:

• Analyse statistical data and generating forecasting solutions based on historic data, market trends, and sales forecast obtained from cross functional stakeholders.
• Work cross functionally, i.e. Marketing and Operations, to determine demand and therefore manage the supply replenishment.
• Track & analyze key supply chain KPIs, including but not limited to inventory cover, fill rate, forecast accuracy, cost of goods sold
• Identifies and implements opportunities to improve efficiency, cost- effectiveness, and overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain or business
• Min 3 to 5 years in supply chain related role, preferably in F&B industry.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Good written and verbal communication where good spoken and written English is an added advantage.
