Job summary

Esync Software Services in Selangor is seeking an Assistant Manager, Operations Performance to drive excellence across inventory, logistics, and aftersales. You will monitor performance, identify gaps, and lead improvement initiatives to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Aftersales, Process Improvement, or Operational Excellence.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

The Assistant Manager, Operations Performance is responsible for driving operational excellence and performance improvement across the Supply Chain ecosystem, either Inventory Management, Logistics and Aftersales. This role focuses on monitoring operational performance, identifying process gaps, implementing improvement initiatives, and ensuring operational KPIs are achieved consistently. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance efficiency, optimize resource utilization, improve customer experience, and support business growth through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement practices.

Operations Performance Management

• Monitor and analyze operational performance across Inventory, Logistics, Aftersales, and CARSOME Certified Lab functions.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards, KPI scorecards, and performance reporting mechanisms.
• Track performance trends and identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct regular business reviews with operational stakeholders to drive accountability and performance improvements.
• Ensure operational targets are achieved in alignment with company objectives.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and root cause investigations to identify inefficiencies.
• Drive standardization of processes, policies, and best practices across operations.
• Implement and monitor corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) to address recurring operational issues.
• Support automation and digitalization initiatives to improve operational effectiveness.

Supply Chain & Operations Support

• Partner with Inventory, Logistics, Aftersales, and CCL teams to improve operational planning and execution.
• Evaluate operational capacity, resource utilization, and workflow efficiency.
• Support operational readiness for new business initiatives, process changes, and expansion projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure operational processes remain scalable and sustainable.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Perform detailed analysis of operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and business insights.
• Prepare management reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership review.
• Establish performance measurement frameworks and monitor improvement outcomes.
• Utilize data to support decision-making and operational strategy development.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Experience, and other supporting functions.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment on operational priorities and improvement initiatives.
• Provide coaching and guidance to operational teams on performance management and process excellence practices.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure operational processes comply with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal audits, operational reviews, and compliance assessments.
• Monitor adherence to operational standards and recommend improvements where necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Aftersales, Process Improvement, or Operational Excellence.
• Experience in performance management, KPI monitoring, and process improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to automotive, logistics, retail, manufacturing, or related operational environments is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
