Responsibilities

  • Lead projects focused on inventory and logistics cost reduction and operational efficiency.
  • Develop project plans covering timelines, resources, risks, and mitigation actions.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement sustainable improvements.
  • Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability while minimizing overstock and obsolescence.
  • Apply inventory management practices such as JIT, demand forecasting, and system-based planning tools.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Sales, Production, and other teams to align inventory requirements with business needs.
  • Identify inventory-related gaps and recommend improvements to enhance stock accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee logistics activities covering warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure logistics activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Support initiatives to improve overall logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for inventory and logistics performance.
  • Analyze operational data to evaluate cost impact, process efficiency, and service performance.
  • Develop performance dashboards and management reports.
  • Present findings and actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to align operational strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and support to inventory and logistics teams.
  • Promote a culture focused on continuous improvement, cost awareness, and operational efficiency.
  • Support the onboarding, training, and development of team members.
