Job summary

i-City in Shah Alam seeks a dynamic Leasing & Events professional to oversee marketing, leasing, and retail space management. You will identify tenants, negotiate, monitor occupancy, and coordinate event planning with relevant teams to ensure follow-up actions are taken.

The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Marketing, Property Development/ Real Estate Management, or a related field, fluency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin, and at least 3 years of experience with property developers

Responsibilities

• Manage all leasing functions, including identifying potential tenants, initiating negotiations, and maintaining occupancy rates.
• Conduct ongoing market research to stay updated on rental rates, occupancy costs, and competition in the commercial/retail sector.
• Provide guidance and support to tenants regarding tenancy and fit-out procedures.
• Coordinate and organize event planning meetings across relevant teams, ensuring effective follow-up actions are taken.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Marketing, Property Development/ Real Estate Management, or a related field.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin to cater to our diverse client base.
• At least 3 years of working experience, preferably with property developers or reputable real estate agencies.
• Experience in leasing commercial office and/or retail space, with familiarity in basic leasing procedures.
• Proficient in understanding documents such as tenancy agreements and procedure manuals.
