Job Summary :

The Leasing Centre of Excellence (COE) supports and drives leasing excellence across shopping malls, development projects, regions, and Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEI). The role is responsible for formulating leasing strategies, strengthening retailer partnerships, enhancing tenant mix, and ensuring leasing initiatives align with business objectives and market trends.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with regional leasing teams and cross-functional stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, optimise occupancy and commercial performance, and establish best practices across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of existing retailers, prospective tenants, and strategic business partners across the portfolio to support leasing opportunities and long-term growth.
• Plan, drive, and execute leasing strategies and initiatives for shopping malls, development projects, regions, and Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEI), ensuring alignment with business objectives, tenant mix, budgets, and timelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing tenants while identifying and securing new leasing opportunities through proactive account management and business development activities.
• Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, customer analysis, and industry trend assessments to provide insights and recommendations that enhance portfolio performance.
• Monitor and analyse tenants' performance and prepare leasing reports, market updates, and management information to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regional leasing teams, retailers, consultants, and business partners, to drive leasing excellence and support organisational growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in leasing, tenancy administration, shopping mall management, or the property industry. Experience in commercial retail leasing and shopping mall operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with tenants and business partners.
• Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
