Assistant Manager, Human Resources managing end-to-end monthly payroll processes, recruitment, HR systems administration, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and industrial relations matters. This role supports HR operational efficiency, compliance, and employer branding initiatives.
Managing the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, including attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, statutory contributions and other payroll-related matters
Administering and maintaining the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), ensuring accurate employee records, data integrity and timely updates of employee information
Supporting the implementation and improvement of HRMS processes and system enhancements to improve HR operational efficiency and reporting
Managing and coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process, including manpower requisition, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer preparation and onboarding, to ensure timely filling of approved vacancies and critical positions
Administering compensation and benefits matters, including salary adjustments, allowances, benefits, claims and other employee-related entitlements in accordance with company policies
Preparing HR reports, monthly payroll reports, manpower data and other HR analytics to support workforce planning
Coordinating and implementing employee engagement activities, welfare programmes, staff events and initiatives to promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture and to align company core values
Handling and supporting industrial relations matters, including employee grievances, disciplinary cases, counselling, domestic inquiries and other employee relations issues in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation
Supporting and driving employer branding initiatives to strengthen KLK Land's image as an employer of choice, including employee engagement campaigns, internal communications, career events, social media content and other initiatives to attract and retain talent
Monitoring HR operational processes and identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance accuracy, efficiency and service delivery
Supporting HR audits, statutory requirements and compliance reviews relating to payroll, employee records, benefits and employment practices
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
At least 6 years of relevant HR experience, with strong hands-on experience in payroll, HR operations and employee relations
Strong knowledge and experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including statutory contributions, overtime, allowances, deductions and payroll reconciliation
Good knowledge of compensation and benefits, HR policies, employment practices and relevant labour laws
Experience in handling industrial relations matters, including employee grievances, disciplinary processes, counselling and workplace investigations
Proficient in HRMS and HR systems with the ability to manage HR data, generate reports and support system enhancements
Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal employees and stakeholders at all levels
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential employee and payroll information
