Job summary

Sleeping Lion Genting Highlands is seeking an experienced Assistant HR Manager to join our team and lead HR operations for a new hotel journey at Genting Highlands. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee records while ensuring lawful and policy-compliant practices.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with hotel leadership to drive staff development and engagement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in HR, business, hospitality or related field.
• 4–6 years of HR experience, preferably in hotels.
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR practices.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, hands-on and able to work independently.
• Willing to be based in Genting Highlands.

• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and HODs to support hotel operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
