Job summary

SD Guthrie International is seeking an Assistant Manager, Communications, Guest Relations & Housekeeping at Carey Island, Selangor. This role combines strategic communications with guest experience oversight and housekeeping coordination during refurbishment.

You will lead stakeholder engagement, manage guest inquiries, and support readiness for hospitality operations during refurbishment, coordinating with project teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in relevant field.
• Minimum 3–5 years in hospitality or operations management.
• Experience in communications, guest relations or housekeeping is advantageous.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team coordination.
• Strong English communication, written and spoken.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and in a diverse team.
• Adapt during refurbishment and operational transition.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal and external communications plans.
• Coordinate guest communications, reports, and stakeholder correspondence.
• Oversee housekeeping activities during refurbishment to maintain standards.
• Prepare management reports and project updates.
• Support operational readiness and SOP development.
• Liaise with guests, tenants, contractors and vendors.
