Job summary

MR DIY International is seeking a Senior Executive or Assistant Manager to lead non-trade procurement for our growing retail platform. You will identify suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle to deliver cost efficiencies and strategic value.

Work cross-functionally with store operations, IT, and projects across our global network to understand requirements, present findings to leadership, and drive improvements in supplier performance and process excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in indirect procurement, preferably retail.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement tools.
• Analytical mindset with ability to drive cost savings and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and onboard reliable suppliers for non-trade goods and services.
• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and drive quality improvements.
• Manage full procurement cycle from requisition to contract award for non-trade categories.
• Negotiate favourable pricing, service levels, and contractual terms to realise cost savings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with retail, IT, marketing, and projects.
• Report procurement KPIs and analyze market trends to inform decisions.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
