Job summary

MR DIY International is seeking a strategic and experienced Procurement Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to lead our procurement function across our retail operations. You will drive sourcing excellence, supplier management, and cost optimization while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

The role requires deep procurement knowledge, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and a track record of achieving cost savings through international supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in procurement.
• Experience in sourcing from other countries/regions.
• Proven track record of cost reduction and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including vendor selection, negotiation, contracting and performance evaluation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, focusing on international suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with merchandising, logistics, finance and operations to align procurement activities with business needs.
• Drive initiatives for quality improvement, lead time reduction and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop the procurement team to build capability and high performance.
• Monitor market trends and supply risks; proactively mitigate impact.
• Drive sustainability and ethical sourcing in line with corporate responsibility objectives.
