Job summary

S P Setia Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Tenant Fit-out Coordinator to manage end-to-end fit-out from premises handover to business opening, coordinating tenants, consultants, designers, contractors and internal stakeholders.

You will review submissions for design and M&E, monitor progress via site inspections, resolve issues, oversee handover activities and maintain documentation while supporting Leasing on feasibility assessments.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Building, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end tenant fit-out process from premises handover to business opening.
• Conduct fit-out briefings and coordinate with tenants, consultants, designers, contractors and internal stakeholders
• Review and assess design, shopfront, signage and M&E submissions to ensure compliance with fit-out guidelines, building requirements and statutory regulations
• Monitor fit-out progress, quality, safety and compliance through regular site inspections
• Resolve technical, operational and project-related issues to ensure timely tenant opening
• Coordinate site handover, inspections, testing, approvals and business commencement requirements
• Maintain fit-out documentation, records, trackers and management reports
• Support continuous improvement of fit-out guidelines, processes and standards across assets
• Provide technical support to Leasing on tenant requirements, space planning and fit-out feasibility assessments

About you

Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Building, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline

Minimum 4-6 years' experience in fit-out coordination, project management, retail, commercial or mixed-use developments

Familiarity with architectural, interior design and M&E drawings

Strong stakeholder management, coordination and problem-solving skills

Experience in shopping mall or commercial property fit-out projects will be an added advantage
