The successful candidate will hold an engineering degree with 5–8 years of technical sales experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Job description

Our client is a well-established international company specializing in water filtration, water treatment and pumping solutions. The company provides a wide range of products and solutions for commercial, industrial and water related applications.

Currently, they are hiring for an Assistant Sales Manager, Commercial Pump Solution to support their business expansion and drive sales growth in the commercial and industrial pump solutions market.

Working Location: Sungai Buloh, Selangor

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets


• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer based within commercial, industrial and water treatment sectors


• Provide technical consultation to customers and recommend suitable pump solution based on their applications and requirements


• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customer, consultants, contractors and business partners


• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations and product demonstrations


• Manage the sales pipeline, monitor project opportunities and prepare accurate sales forecasts


• Work closely with the engineering,marketing and supply chain teams to ensure customers receive appropriate technical and commercial support


• Support customers with technical enquiries, product selection and basic troubleshooting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering


• Approximately 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in industrial process commercial pumping or water treatment systems


• Proven track record in technical sales, business development or key account management


• Strong mechanical knowledge and technical troubleshooting capabilities


• Good communication, negotiation and customer relationship management skills


• Self-motivated, results oriented and comfortable working towards sales targets


• Willing to travel locally and overseas when required
