Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Trust Recruit Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Manager, Business Development to lead and grow the BD team, forge client relationships, craft sales strategies, and provide market insights while coordinating with internal teams to deliver optimal logistics solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years in freight forwarding sales or logistics, a relevant diploma, and strong language skills in English, Malay, and Mandarin as an advantage; travel and a proactive, people-focused mindset are

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Freight Forwarding Sales, business development, or logistics experience.
• Diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an added advantage.
• Owns a car and willingness to travel.
• Ambitious with strong people skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

The Assistant Manager, Business Development will lead and assist the business development team to acquire new clients, build strong client relationships, develop sales strategies, provide market insights, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver logistics solutions.

• Owns a car and doesn’t mind some travel.
• Someone with hustle and ambition; experience in sales/logistics is a plus.
• A natural people person who can build strong connections.
