Job summary

Jora Malaysia is expanding its market presence in Malaysia and seeking someone to analyze market data and develop marketing strategies for products and services. The role includes managing tenders, building customer relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to meet project goals.

You will travel to client locations, support external sales agents, and identify new business opportunities to drive future growth.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market data to develop marketing strategies for products or services, considering customer demand, competitor activity, and industry trends.
• Implement marketing initiatives to promote the company’s offerings and identify new business opportunities to support future growth.
• Manage external sales agent and provide necessary support.
• Lead the tender process, including reviewing the scope of work (SOW), and ensuring that all technical clarifications (TCs) are addressed.
• Ensure that tender submissions and proposals are clear, comprehensive, and that all queries and deviations are documented and resolved.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely submission of tender bids.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
• Establish connections with potential new customers to expand the company’s client base and enhance profitability.
• Travel to client location and frequent meet up with clients to foster close relationship.
• Liaise with engineering, quality and procurement to ensure that all technical, quality and commercial requirements are met during the sales and tender process.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and sales processes, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and project statuses for management review.
