Job summary

MYFutureJobs is recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing and industrial automation company located in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan. They seek an Assistant Maintenance Engineer with 2-5 years of relevant experience to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, troubleshoot faults, and support installation and improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Automation or related field.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing machinery or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams and machine manuals.
• Good troubleshooting and maintenance documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and CNC equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Respond to machine breakdowns and support timely equipment recovery.
• Assist with machinery installation, commissioning and improvement activities.
• Maintain maintenance checklists, machine history and spare‑parts records.
• Work with production and engineering teams to reduce equipment downtime.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, LOTO, safety, 5S and ISO requirements.

Education

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Automation or related field
