Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Manage Housekeeping Staff: Lead and oversee the work of housekeeping attendants on assigned rooms and floors, ensuring adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Inspect Rooms and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all rooms and public areas meet the hotel’s high standards.
• Manage Inventory: Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
• Schedule Shifts: Organize work schedules for housekeeping staff to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
• Handle Guest Requests: Provide excellent customer service to guests, making them feel welcome and addressing their needs. Address special cleaning requests and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly.
• Train New Employees: Mentor and train new housekeeping staff to uphold the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and service.
• Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with the front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Report on Operations: Track and report key performance indicators, such as guest satisfaction and cleanliness ratings.
