Job summary

Assistant General Manager Business Growth & Customer Channels ("AGM")

Reporting directly to the CEO / Deputy CEO, the AGM will be the lead person responsible for business and revenue growth, including agency sales, customer acquisition, channel management, marketing support and business relationships. The role carries accountability for both top-line growth and bottom-line contribution, within approved product, pricing, policy and governance parameters.

Key Responsibilities

Lead business and revenue growth across agency sales, customer acquisition, channel performance and branding & marketing support.

Own top-line growth and bottom-line contribution for the business growth function.

Manage and develop teams, channels and business relationships to deliver agreed targets.

Strengthen customer reach within the government servant segment through effective agency and channel management.

Use performance data, market feedback and competitor insights to improve business execution.

Present business updates, performance reviews and growth recommendations to management.

Ensure sales, marketing and channel activities comply with internal policies, governance standards and applicable regulatory expectations.

Key Requirements

Minimum 12 to 15 years of relevant experience, with solid leadership exposure in sales, business development, channel management, customer acquisition or revenue growth.

Experience in financial services, non-bank financial services, personal financing, banking, insurance, fintech or a regulated service environment is preferred.

Proven track record of delivering both revenue growth and profitability.

Strong leadership, execution discipline and ability to manage performance through teams and channels.

Good understanding of governance, compliance and responsible business conduct in a financial services environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related discipline; relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience may also be considered.

Malaysian citizenship is required.
