Job summary

Quintus Search is seeking a cost accounting professional in Malaysia to manage AR and credit control, support period-end closing, and maintain standard costs with cross-department coordination.

The role requires 3+ years in cost accounting, FMCG/manufacturing exposure, and strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations. SAP experience is required, with a focus on accuracy and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Bachelor's Degree and/or professional qualifications in Finance/Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting and/or accounting position.
• Preferable with FMCG or manufacturing background.
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
• Knowledge in SAP is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting functions of Accounts Receivable and Credit Control.
• Assist the Finance Manager in coordinating period-end closing activities including journal review, costing settlement etc
• Update standard cost on quarterly basis and coordinate the activity with related departments.
• Prepare, review and analyse monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) by channel.
• Assist the Group Finance Manager in providing information for Transfer Pricing Documentation.
• Prepare P&L simulation for new product development (NPD) as and when required.
• Working with external and internal audit teams and managing relevant requests/queries related to the audit.
• Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting.
• Involved in ensuring strong internal controls and overseeing improvements within the team.
• Prepare, review and analyse monthly manufacturing reports including margin overheads and production variance.
• To undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior or management from time to time.
