Job summary

CCPS International (M) Sdn. Bhd. seeks an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting, manage cashflow and supervise the team in Kuala Lumpur.

You will handle full set accounts, monitor bank balances and ensure timely monthly closures and SST submissions, while liaising with auditors, tax agents and suppliers. The role requires a diploma/degree in Accountancy or ACCA/CPA, at least 3 years of accounting experience, and proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations and ensure accuracy of the general ledger.
• Manage cashflow, accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Monitor bank balances, reconciliations and prepare cashflow forecasts.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants and bankers as required.
• Supervise the accounting team and ensure timely closing of monthly statements.

Job description

Oversee the daily financial operations matters.

Performing day-to-day accounting operations including Cashflow Management, Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables.

To monitor costs, bank balance, bank reconciliations and cashflow management and forecasting.

To update cash book records on a weekly basis.

Manage and handle full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Ensure timely closing and submission of monthly financial statements.

Ensure timely submission of SST.

Ensure proper filing of accounting records/documents.

Liaise with relevant external parties, including auditors, tax consultants, solicitors, bankers, company secretaries, suppliers, etc.

Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements including timely completion of audited financial statements for the Group and its companies and liaising with the tax agents on the filing of tax returns.

Supervise the accounting team.

Liaise with the Admin Team to facilitate the preparation and issuance of invoices and official receipts while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

To perform any ad-hoc task assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a diploma or degree in Accountancy and/or professional qualification in ACCA/CPA or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting and full set accounts experience.

Property Management industry experience is highly preferred.

Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel skills.

Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required as the role involves communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients and business partners.

Candidate must have a high level of integrity, be able to work independently and is capable to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Able to multi-task, handle ad-hoc duties and meet deadlines.
