We are looking someone with "GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF SINGAPORE FINANCIAL REPORTING STANDARDS (SFRS) AND SINGAPORE ACCOUNTING PRACTICES IS REQUIRED".
Based in Johor Bahru and supporting operations across both markets, you'll help keep the numbers accurate, timely, and decision-ready — from financial reporting and compliance to budgeting, cash flow, and month-end close. You won't do it alone: you'll work closely with the Senior Finance Manager, senior management, auditors, and cross-functional teams, with clear room to grow into greater responsibility as the business expands.
Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
Perform month-end and year-end closing and prepare monthly management accounts.
Process supplier invoices, customer billings, receipts, and payments accurately and on time.
Monitor customer collections and follow up on overdue accounts.
Maintain and reconcile inventory records, including inventory purchases, stock movements, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
Prepare schedules for audit, tax, and statutory reporting.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and customers on accounting matters.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
Support the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by Management.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Singapore accounting practices is required.
Experience in preparing financial statements for Singapore-incorporated companies is preferred.
Knowledge of Singapore GST and statutory compliance is an added advantage.
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
