Mindstack Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Assistant / Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our footprint across Malaysia.

You will combine sales expertise, market insights, and digital-tech know-how to attract new clients and grow engagements with our SaaS platforms and mobile applications. You will collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions, nurture relationships, and help businesses realise the value of our offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in business development, sales, or account management in software/mobile sectors.
• Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and mobile apps.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, able to work independently or in a team.
• Analytical mindset with ability to turn market insights into actionable strategies.
• Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend events.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for SaaS and mobile app platforms across Malaysia.
• Acquire and manage clients through networking, outreach, field visits, and product demonstrations.
• Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions to drive adoption and long-term engagement.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify upsell opportunities.
• Develop and execute targeted marketing initiatives to strengthen brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create marketing materials and campaigns that align with organizational goals.

Collaboration & Internal Coordination

• Work closely with product, operations, compliance, support, and marketing teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.
• Support cross-departmental initiatives to improve client experience and product adoption.

Business Strategy & Growth Planning

• Analyze market trends, competitors, and industry developments to refine strategies.
• Develop and implement plans to meet sales and growth targets for SaaS and mobile app offerings.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years and above experience in business development, sales, or account management—preferably in software development or mobile app sectors.
