Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Ipoh is seeking a detail-oriented administrator to handle admissions across inpatient, outpatient, daycare and newborn, ensuring accurate registration in HITS/KCIS and smooth patient flow.

You will record patient particulars, collect deposits and part payments, print interim bills, assist with ward census and bed occupancy figures, and support the Accountant/Operations Manager as needed.

Responsibilities

• Register inpatient, outpatient, daycare and newborn admission into HITS/KCIS.
• Record patient particulars into registration admission book.
• Accompany patient/relatives to the ward concerned.
• Screen patient guarantee letter, if any.
• Collect deposit upon admission and also part payment from payment/relative, if any.
• Print cycle bill (interim bill) and visit patient/relatives for topping up deposit
• Clear cash collected at main cashier together with receipt listing.
• Attend to patient/relative enquiry.
• Relief cashier and MCO, if any
• Generate ward census for reference and compilation of occupancy rate.
• Generate daily bed census.
• Estimate bill for discharges (after officer hours)
• To promote, support and ensure patient understanding of Patient and Family Rights.
• Carries out duties and responsibilities of the Accountant /Operation Manager in his absence as directed.
• Assists the Accountant/Operation Manager in the administration of the unit when needed.
