Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Accounts Executive at PGEO Group Sdn Bhd (A Member Of Wilmar Group Of Companies) located in Pasir Gudang.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Basic understanding of accounting principles and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in compiling and analysing financial data to prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with company policies and accounting standards.
Support timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Assist in preparing management reports and financial analysis for decision-making.
Help ensure compliance with relevant accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting exercises, including data collection and preparation of working files.
Assist in preparing for financial audits and liaising with auditors as required.
Support the monitoring and reconciliation of accounts to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain and update financial databases and documentation.
Provide general accounting support, including processing payment requests, purchase orders, and expense claims.
Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by your superior.
