Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with ACCA/CPA/MICPA or equivalent, and has at least five years of relevant experience, including two in a supervisory role.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
• High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax submissions, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
• Assist in budget planning, financial analysis, and business performance monitoring.
• Review and improve internal controls, financial processes, and procedures.
• Supervise and guide finance and accounts staff in daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and relevant legislation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
