Abers Resources Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Accountant in Port Klang to oversee the full set of accounts and ensure records are complete and accurate. The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of Malaysian statutory requirements.
You will work independently, meet deadlines, and liaise with auditors and external parties. Fluency in English and local languages is an advantage; familiarity with AutoCount is a plus.

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Accountancy, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in full set of accounts.
Good understanding of accounting principles and Malaysian statutory requirements.
Familiarity with AutoCount Accounting System is an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

Oversee the full set of accounts and ensure all accounting records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
Review accounting entries, reconciliations, ledgers, and supporting documents.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Monitor Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, cash flow, and other accounting transactions.
Handle monthly and year‑end closing, including adjustments and reconciliations.
Review project/job costing, stock inventory, and related accounting records.
Identify discrepancies, errors, and significant variances and take appropriate corrective action.
Prepare audit, tax, and statutory schedules and supporting documents.
Supervise and review the Accounts team to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with accounting procedures, internal controls, and company policies.
Review monthly payroll and salary payouts before payment.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, and other external parties on accounting matters.
Provide guidance and technical support to the Accounts team.
Support management in accounting reports, budgeting, costing, and internal controls.
Perform other ad‑hoc accounting duties as assigned.
