Job summary

RGP Corporation in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to lead the accounting and finance function. You will prepare management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts while coordinating audits and tax submissions.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting/finance with at least 2 years in supervision, strong knowledge of standards, and excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage. This is a full-time position based in Shah Alam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, SST, and financial reporting requirements.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax submissions, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
• Assist in budget planning, financial analysis, and business performance monitoring.
• Review and improve internal controls, financial processes, and procedures.
• Supervise and guide finance and accounts staff in daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and relevant legislation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
