Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced finance leader to supervise the accounting team and ensure timely preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, as well as year-end statutory reports.
The role involves developing financial policies, liaising with auditors and tax authorities, and overseeing SST, income tax, and other returns. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Work closely with management to ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts and year-end statutory reports.
Supervise and mentor the accounting team to enhance efficiency.
Assist in developing and administering financial and operational policies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, financial regulations (local Accounting Standard, Income Tax Act, Services Tax Act, and Group policies.
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, bankers and other authorities.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of SST, income tax, and other statutory returns.
Proper maintenance of the documentation and filing to support all accounting entries.
To manage daily accounts operational function, i.e. review payment voucher, journal voucher, debit note, credit note, Interco confirmation, fixed asset register & bank reconciliation.
To handle full set of monthly management accounts and ensure its timely submission for monthly & quarterly.
To prepare audit schedule for balance sheet and P&L items and draft financial statement.
Ad hoc task or assignment when required.
Requirement :
Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position. Multi-company accounts experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA would be an advantage.
Familiar with SST, Tax filing and statutory reporting in Malaysia
Able to work independently and lead a team.
Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working hours: 8.30 am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
