Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reports for the Group in compliance with MASB approved accounting standards and regulations.
- Review subsidiary submissions and follow up on reporting issues, variance and outstanding schedules.
- Support preparation of Bursa announcements, audit committee papers and annual report disclosures.
- Coordinating with finance teams across different business units to gather financial data and ensure consistency in reporting.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- A Master's degree or professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a plus advantage for this role.
- Have at least 2-4 years working experience in accounting, finance or audit.
- Go of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and consolidation techniques.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is often necessary for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and interpret results.
- To ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Excellent in both verbal communication and written communication for preparing reports and documentation.
- Being a team player and fostering positive working relationships with other departments.
- Can handle sensitive financial information and must maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethics in work.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
