Job summary

SBC Lighting Sdn Bhd invites an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Klang. You will handle monthly reports, financial statements and cashflow, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

The role also covers general ledger, journal entries, fixed asset listings, and group consolidation support, as well as assisting treasury matters and tax computations. Strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required; Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ relevant working experience.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly reports, financial statements and cashflow for management in compliance with accounting standards.
• Handling daily accounting tasks including general ledger, journal, fixed asset listing and other supporting schedule.
• To assist in monthly group consolidation accounts
• To assist in group treasury matters
• To prepare tax & deferred tax computation
• To liaise with external auditors, tax agents on audit and tax related matters
• To assist in prepare budget and forecast
• To assist and support on other ad-hoc tasks assigned
