Job summary

VTS Group in Malaysia is seeking an Asset Officer to assist in maintaining physical assets across outlets. You will monitor inventories, locations, and maintenance status, issue APRFs, and ensure assets are received correctly and registered.

You will also issue transfer/loan/disposal forms, track repairs, manage office supplies, and prepare monthly asset reports while ensuring compliance with established standards and safe handling of assets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical assets inventories, locations and maintenance status.
• Issue Asset Purchase Request Forms (APRF) and ensure correct delivery and registration.
• Issue Asset Transfer/Loan/Disposal forms (ATDLF/TARTF) per established procedures.
• Generate asset fault reports and decide on repair or disposal actions.
• Monitor monthly asset listing and update records accordingly.
• Record and track asset repairs and maintenance activities.
• Oversee office and outlet supplies of tools, stationery, equipment and cleaning materials.
• Prepare monthly asset reports on new purchases, unused items and disposals.
• Conduct regular checks on equipment in all outlets for safety.
• Maintain key records and secure storage; ensure all standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with all established standards across assets and tools.
