Job summary

Progressive Safety Equipment Sdn. Bhd. seeks an Inventory Coordinator to support daily operations, manage stock levels and keep accurate records in Malaysia.

You will coordinate deliveries, handling service reports and ensure documentation such as certificates and PO/DO are in order. The role requires strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to communicate clearly with the technical team and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / computer applications.
• Experience in administration, inventory or operations is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment movement and stock levels
• Maintain and update inventory records
• Coordinate equipment deliveries with the technical team
• Manage service reports, checklists, transmittals and other operational documents
• Conduct regular stock take equipment.
• Monitor stock availability and identify items requiring replenishment
• Coordinate receiving and issuing of rental equipment
• Verify equipment documents, including calibration certificates, hydrostatic test certificates, PO and DO
• Record equipment issuance and returns in the system
• Report faulty or missing equipment to the supervisor
• Coordinate spare parts and equipment replenishment
• Provide updates on equipment availability and stock status
• Support smooth daily operations and suggest improvements to work processes
• Handle unit and equipment requests according to company procedures
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties
