Fuji Electric (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a capable Equipment Engineer to lead Equipment Technicians in maintaining manufacturing equipment and ensuring top-notch performance.
The role focuses on scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and driving improvement projects to boost yield and reliability. The candidate should have a degree or diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronic fields, with hands-on maintenance experience and leadership potential.
Act as a technical support specialist in equipment maintenances, to ensure equipment in top notch for quality products and performance.
Manage and lead Equipment Technicians (ET) to performing scheduled maintenances and troubleshoot breakdowns.
Develop and execute new breakthroughs to solve machine issues.
Learn and develop technical know-how in related areas to become an expertise.
Develop an efficient and cost-effective maintenance program for manufacturing equipment.
Participate and engage in new equipment setup and qualifications.
Train and certify the technicians/lower-level engineers in training and in carrying their duties.
Drive improvement projects and lead a team of technicians.
Generate new ideas and solutions for yield improvements.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering or any other related fields.
Or Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering with minimum 6 years' experience in equipment maintenance.
2-3 years working experience in equipment maintenance, project leader will be an added advantage.
A self-motivated team player who can work independently with good interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and in writing.
PLC, HMI, robotics knowledge will be advantage.
