Job summary

Fuji Electric (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Kedah is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our Assembly Production team. You will oversee testing operations, ensure compliance with quality requirements, and drive stability across the line.

The role focuses on improving yield, managing changes (NPI/SBR), handling non-conforming products, and generating daily reports, with emphasis on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years' manufacturing experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science required or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in test operations and quality processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee assembly testing operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and stable operations in compliance with customer and quality requirements.
• Monitor and continuously improve test operations in terms of productivity, efficiency, yield, quality, and overall line stability.
• Lead and drive improvement initiatives related to visual defects to enhance product quality and reduce defect rates.
• Manage Engineering Changes, New Product Introduction (NPI), Special Build Request (SBR), and evaluation activities related to Test Operations.
• Manage and prioritize non-conforming products, including timely disposition, investigation, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Prepare and release daily yield reports, failure mode reports, investigation reports, Stop Shipment Request (SSR), and other relevant reports as required.
• Review, follow up, and release on-hold lots in accordance with applicable procedures and requirements.
• Review and update procedure, checklists, and other relevant work instructions or documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support the Area Manager in achieving departmental Goals & Objectives (G&O) and provide effective operational and engineering support.
• Support the implementation and compliance of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and relevant Environment Management Programs (EMP).

About you
