Job summary

Arvion Services in Kuala Lumpur seeks a highly driven Country Manager to lead business development in the FX & CFDs sector across Southeast Asia. You will own the P&L, set strategic direction, and drive revenue growth through high‑performing teams and strong partner networks.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in BD with 2+ years in leadership, deep knowledge of the SE Asia market, and fluency in English and Mandarin to engage diverse stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of individual Business Development experience in FX/CFDs brokerage
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing Business Development team members
• Strong knowledge of China & other South East Asia region
• Strong knowledge of FX/CFDs products, trading platforms (MT4/MT5), spreads, rebates, and partner programs
• Proven success in both hunting new IBs and clients and farming existing portfolios
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and manage P&L
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar) and performance tracking
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, international environment
• Must be able to speak English and Mandarin fluently

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of Business Development Managers and Senior Business Development Managers across assigned markets.
• Set clear sales targets and KPIs for hunting new IBs, affiliates, partners, and clients, and farming existing portfolios.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide mentoring to develop team capabilities.
• Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on results, client relationships, and long-term growth.
• Drive acquisition of high-value IBs, affiliates, institutional clients, and retail partnerships.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing IBs and clients to increase trading volumes and revenue share.
• Build market presence through prospecting, events, and industry conferences.
• Define and implement regional and global BD strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing, dealing desk, and compliance to support BD strategy.
• Develop innovative partner programs and regional promotional campaigns.
• Own the team P&L, ensuring targets are met and profitability is optimized.
• Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue reporting at team levels.
• Provide detailed business insights to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Lead due diligence for onboarding new IBs and clients.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and regulatory changes across global markets.
• Drive continuous innovation in BD approach, partner engagement, and service differentiation
