Job summary

Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (AS400) for a contract position in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on managing IT projects and AS400 systems, with emphasis on Core Insurance platforms, POS, portals, and data infrastructure.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive end-to-end project delivery, and ensure risk controls meet regulatory standards. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of IT project management with at least 3 full lifecycle

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations.
• Experience with AS400/Core Insurance systems, POS, portals, and Data Lake.
• Familiarity with Malaysia's RMiT guidelines and risk controls in technology projects.
• End-to-end RFP/RFQ processes, vendor evaluation and selection experience.
• Ability to develop business cases including cost-benefit analysis and strategic alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects focusing on AS400 systems and infrastructure.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (5+ members) to deliver complex initiatives.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and risk controls throughout project lifecycle.
• Drive vendor evaluations, selection, and contract negotiations where applicable.
