Job summary

Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Project Manager with familiarity and experience in AI to lead our ongoing transformation initiatives across Core Insurance systems, POS, and data platforms.

You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, ensure compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia’s RMiT guidelines, and deliver insurance projects from design through implementation and deployment. Strong stakeholder management, risk control, and vendor coordination are essential.

Job description

We are currently looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Project Manager, familiar and experience in AI to support our ongoing project. We have attached the detailed job description (JD) outlining the key responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations for the role.

Technical project management skills, preferably with experience in managing transformation projects related to Core Insurance system (AS400), insurance products launch, Insurance Point-of-Sales systems (POS), Agent/Customer/Claim Portal, Corporate Websites and Data Lake.

Priority will be given to candidates with experience or domain expertise in GI/Life insurance products, Digital, big data, analytics, AI, infra and cloud.

Experience in managing at least 5 full-time team members, excluding the implementation vendor.

Familiarity with Bank Negara Malaysia’s Risk Management in Technology (RMiT) guidelines, ensuring compliance and effective risk controls in technology initiatives.
