Job summary

VAT Vakuumventile AG in Malaysia seeks a dedicated IT Production Operations Support specialist to provide continuous desktop and production IT assistance on a 24/7 rotating shift. Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or related technical field.
• Experience in IT production operations and peripherals.
• Familiar with Windows, MS 365, printers, and network basics.
• Willing to work a 24/7 rotating shift, including nights and holidays.
• Recent graduates with tech internship exposure may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous IT operational support per rotating shift.
• Monitor and respond to IT incidents affecting production and offices.
• Ensure IT support availability outside normal hours per roster.
• Support during critical incidents, outages, and ramp-ups.
• Assist production lines, shopfloor PCs, printers, and peripherals.
• Coordinate with line leaders, engineers, and IT teams during incidents.
• Install and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, monitors, and more.
• Perform device setup and basic network checks.
• Check connections, IP configs, and basic reachability.
• Submit logs, screenshots, and feedback for incidents.
• Complete structured handovers at shift end.
