Job summary

VAT Group in Batu Kawan, Malaysia is hiring for a permanent IT Operations Support role. The candidate will provide continuous IT operational support across production, offices, and shopfloor environments, including nights and weekends on a rotating shift.

The role requires a Diploma in IT or related field, familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, networks, and peripherals, and willingness to work a 24/7 schedule. Fresh graduates with internships are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Diploma in Information Technology or related field is required.
Experience in IT production operations and familiarity with hardware, OS, software, and peripherals.
Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, network connectivity, printers, and user accounts.
Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide continuous IT operational support per rotating shift.
Monitor and respond to IT incidents affecting production and offices.
Ensure availability outside normal hours per approved roster.
Assist during critical incidents and production ramp-ups.
Provide IT support for desktops, laptops, production PCs, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
Coordinate with production leaders and IT teams during incidents.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware; follow access/change protocols.
Perform basic network troubleshooting and monitor dashboards and tickets.
Handover and review open tickets with incoming technician.
