Job summary

U Mobile in Malaysia invites applications for an outdoor/field sales role focused on servicing dealers, driving sales targets and KPIs across assigned areas, and building strong retailer relationships. You will conduct daily dealer visits, execute sales strategies, train and inform dealers about products, and support promotional activities while monitoring market movements.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in field sales, is based in Miri, has a car and is willing to travel daily to outstation

• 1–2 years of outdoor/field sales experience.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit existing dealer stores daily to provide service and build relationships.
• Implement and monitor sales promotions and seek new opportunities.
• Support activations and loyalty programs with prepaid and postpaid products.
• Ensure dealers have product knowledge and proper training.
• Perform trade events and on-site support to boost sales.
• Monitor market movements through market intelligence.

Job Summary

To conduct daily visits to dealers stores to support Sales & Distribution activities within assigned areas, with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs.

The Day-To-Day Activities

• To conduct daily visit existing dealers stores that sell U Mobile products to provide service, support and build relationship within the assigned areas.
• To execute, monitor effectiveness of sales strategy/promotion plans and seek new opportunity to expand UM touch point & pyramid.
• Continue deepening dealer’s loyalty through activations (Prepaid with plans and Postpaid).
• Ensuring dealers have proper knowledge and training on:-
• System : Genuine and accurate activations through control system & system knowledge.
• Product : Full range of products.
• How to Sell : Accurate and correct information given.
• Incentives / Pyramid : Proper guidance in building loyalty.
• POSM : Latest & up to date POSM.
• To perform trade events, visit and provide tactical ground support to ensure optimum sales performance.
• Vigilant to market movement through market intelligence.

About You

• Education: Minimum SPM/Senior UEC or anything equivalent with a passing result.
• Must be based in Miri, Sarawak.
• Must have own car and willing to travel daily to outstation area.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in outdoor/field sales in telco/FMCG/retail or any relevant industry.
• Able to aggressively work with dealers to commit sales target given.
• Good communication/interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Able to cope with ad hoc tasks given.
