The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and profitability of multiple fast food restaurant outlets within a specific geographic area. This role ensures that all outlets meet company standards for quality, service, cleanliness, staffing, and compliance. The Area Manager acts as a key link between the corporate office and outlet managers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operations across all assigned restaurant outlets.
- Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct regular visits to outlets to monitor performance and compliance.
- Supervise and support Restaurant Managers in achieving outlet goals.
- Monitor staffing levels, training, and performance of all team members.
- Assist in recruiting, coaching, and developing management-level staff.
- Provide motivation and leadership to build a strong team culture.
- Drive sales growth, cost control, and profitability across all outlets.
- Analyze profit & loss statements, labour costs, food costs, and other KPIs.
- Recommend and implement action plans to improve underperforming outlets.
- Ensure effective budgeting and forecasting practices.
4. Quality Control & Customer Experience
- Ensure high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
- Handle escalated customer issues or complaints at the area level.
- Monitor health and safety compliance and manage audits.
5. Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Develop and execute area-level strategies to meet business targets.
- Prepare and present regular reports on area performance to senior management.
- Work closely with marketing, HR, and supply chain teams to support operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience in the F&B or fastfood industry.
- Proven experience managing multiple outlets or high-volume operations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently between outlets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control, and workforce scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of local labour laws and health regulations.
