Job summary

Agoda is expanding its Homes supply in Malaysia and seeking a senior Area Manager, Homes Supply. The role focuses on sourcing, optimizing partner relationships, and leveraging data insights to unlock growth opportunities.

You will communicate findings to stakeholders and collaborate with regional teams to align with global strategies. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in commercial or business leadership roles, with fluency in English and Chinese; Malay is a plus.

Qualifications

• More than 7 years of professional experience in commercial roles, business development, or general management.
• Fluency in English and Chinese is required; proficiency in Malay is a plus.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively as a team member.
• A track record of mentoring and building results-oriented, solutions-focused teams, fostering strong collaboration and long-term partner relationships.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate direction, value propositions, and recommended solutions to external partners and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Homes market strategy in Malaysia.
• Lead, inspire, coach and develop teams to grow our local business.
• Implement strategies with Homes partners to enhance productivity and opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Deliver on country commercial and profitability targets.
• Work with market leadership on strategic planning and establishing objectives. Develop KPIs to drive strategic priorities.
• Develop and own relationships with key decision makers at hotels, technology partners and other local or regional partners.
