Job summary

Archicentre in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced architect to translate concepts into schematic and construction drawings, liaise with consultants, and manage drawings through construction. Qualifications

• 5–12 years of experience in architecture.
• Degree in Architecture equivalent to LAM Part II.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Lumion, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office and Excel.
• Revit BIM knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concept drawings and convert them to schematic drawings; prepare presentation materials independently.
• Liaise and coordinate with consultants on project design intent.
• Develop detailed drawings for construction including material research and buildability considerations.
• Produce construction drawings and manage project and site inspections with minimal supervision.
• Ensure the project remains on time and within specifications.
• Oversee preparation and issuance of construction drawings and ensure alignment with approved plans.

• 1) To prepare concept drawings and convert concept drawings to schematic drawings. Prepare all necessary relevant presentation material independently.
• 2) To liaise and coordinate with consultants on project design intent.
• 3) To develop detailed drawings in preparation for construction including research on the suitability of materials with a sound understanding of build ability and technical issues.
• 4) To produce construction drawings and to manage project and inspect site works with minimal supervision.
• 5)Ensuring the project remains on time and within specifications.
• 6)To oversee the preparation & issuance of the construction drawings and details, ensuring that drawings correspond to the design and approved plans.

Job Requirement:

• 1) Candidate must have 5-12 years working experience.
• 2) Candidate must possess at least a recognized Degree in Architecture equivalent to LAM Part II.
• 3)Familiarity with rules, regulations best practices and performance standards.
• 4) Required skill(s): AutoCAD, Lumion, Sketch up, Photoshop, Microsoft Officeand Microsoft Excel.
• 5) Capability in Revit BIM will be an added advantage.
