Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Architectural Coordinator to oversee architectural and finishing works, review shop drawings, and coordinate with consultants to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and standards.
You will liaise with architects, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, monitor progress, conduct site inspections, prepare documentation, and support handover while complying with local regulations.

Coordinate and supervise all architectural and finishing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
Review and coordinate shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, mock-ups, and consultant approvals.
Liaise with architects, consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Coordinate architectural works with Civil & Structural (C&S), M&E, BIM, and other disciplines.
Monitor site progress, workmanship, material quality, and subcontractor performance to ensure timely project completion.
Conduct site inspections, identify technical issues or defects, and ensure timely rectification.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, site reports, inspection records, and architectural submissions.
Attend coordination meetings, site inspections, and support project handover, including defect rectification and as-built documentation.
Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, project specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Support the Project Manager in achieving project objectives related to quality, cost, and schedule.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Construction, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination, site supervision, or building construction projects.
Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, finishing works, construction methods, materials, QA/QC procedures, and site inspection practices.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
Familiar with local building regulations, authority requirements, Malaysian construction standards, CONQUAS, QLASSIC, and CIDB requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or related coordination software is an added advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Able to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and perform under pressure to meet project deadlines.
Detail-oriented, proactive, responsible, and committed to delivering high-quality work with a positive team-oriented attitude.
CIDB Green Card holder is preferred. Possession of a valid driving licence is an added advantage.
