Job summary

R&F Development Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking an Architect to contribute to mixed-development and residential projects. You will assist in concept design, space planning, and developing drawings to meet deadlines.

The role requires degree in architecture, 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and ability to coordinate with consultants and authorities. You will join a dynamic team, with attractive allowances and medical benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or related field.
• Preferably 3-5 years of relevant property development experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and related design software.
• Familiar with local authority submission processes, UBBL, and BOMBA requirements.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates proficient in Mandarin will be an added advantage to communicate with HQ.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conceptual design, space planning, and architectural development for mixed-development and residential projects.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, layout plans, presentation materials, and technical submissions.
• Ensure designs comply with local authority requirements, BOMBA regulations, UBBL, and relevant building codes.
• Support design optimization to improve functionality, aesthetics, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in design reviews and provide practical solutions for project implementation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, M&E teams, interior designers, and project stakeholders throughout project development.
• Follow up on authority submissions, approvals, and project documentation.
• Monitor site progress to ensure construction works comply with approved drawings and design intent.
• Maintain and update project drawings, design records, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all architectural works comply with company SOPs, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Assist in preparing reports, project updates, and presentation materials for management review.
