Job summary

TAK Group of Companies in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced architect to drive design concepts and detailed drawings. You will translate client briefs into innovative building designs and coordinate with consultants and contractors to deliver high-quality projects.

With a professional Architecture degree and 8+ years of practice, you will generate proposals, prepare tender drawings, and guide a design team to deliver sustainable, technically robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a professional degree in architecture and 8+ years of experience.
• Ability to sketch and/or prepare 3D renderings.
• Proficient in producing complete tender drawings.
• Strong conceptual design and space planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate concepts, design proposals and architectural details for presentation.
• Create building designs and detailed drawings using hand and CAD/3D tools.
• Provide technical inputs on architectural designs and construction with sustainable concepts.
• Lead a team and coordinate with consultants, clients and contractors.

Requirements:

• Professional Degree in Architecture with minimum 8 years working experience;
• Possess innovative design skills and able to sketch and/or prepare 3D renderings;
• Able to produce entire set of tender drawings;
• Strong in architectural concepts and space planning;
• Able to liaise with consultants, clients and contractors.

Job Scope:

• Generate concepts, prepare design proposals and architectural details for presentation;
• Create building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and using specialist AutoCAD or 3D software applications;
• Provide technical inputs on architectural designs and construction, incorporating creative design thinking, innovative solutions, environmentally sustainable concepts and integrated multi-disciplinary approach;
• Ability to manage a team and work with other consultants on spatial and MEP requirements.
