Job summary

Fairwork is looking for a dedicated professional to manage product development processes in Seberang Perai, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will ensure all architectural designs are aligned and consistent, while also evaluating new land for potential development.

You will need at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, relevant working experience, and proficiency in preparing PKM & BP. Strong strategic thinking and excellent time management skills are essential. Join us to contribute to innovative design solutions.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and drive the product development processes within planning section to ensure timely completion of design development and within budget.
• Ensure all designs pertaining to building architectural, ID, landscape and any others that affect the aesthetic aspect of overall project are consistent and aligned.
• To evaluate and study new potential land by churning out the product mix and massing studies.
• To prepare feasibility study for all the new potential land.
• Research and explore latest design trends.
• Explore product composition to optimize product marketability and financial returns.
• Set design direction for the project to consultants, i.e. architects, engineers, IDs, landscape architects, etc.
• Establish a pool of competent consultants, i.e. architects, engineers, IDs, landscape architects, etc.
• Initiate workshop with architects and matrix team to improve design efficiency, enhance product unique selling point, and eliminate unnecessary cost.
• Conduct audit to site to ensure design intends are intact.
• Ensure high accuracy of design detailing to avoid error and abortive cost.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time as deemed necessary.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Architectural.
• With working experience.
• Must posses experience in preparing PKM & BP and familiar with the submission procedure with local authorities & must be independent in handing the job.
• Strategic and demonstrate a high level of business sense.
• Dependable, excellent time management skills and prioritization with proven record in lead time management and ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines.
