Job summary

IPM Professional Services is seeking a qualified Architect to join our design team in Malaysia. The role involves preparing drawings for KM, landscape and architecture, creating layout proposals and 3D renderings, and producing technical reports and BOQs.

You will attend consultant and site meetings, liaise with government agencies and clients, and ensure projects meet our standards. Ideal candidates hold a Part II architecture credential, are registered, and are proficient in AutoCAD and 3D

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master of Science in Architecture (Part II) with registration is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D rendering software (Revit/SketchUp) is essential.
• Fluent in English and Malay, both written and spoken.
• Ability to liaise with government agencies, clients and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of architecture standards, codes and specifications.
• Demonstrated leadership, decision making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to plan, organize and manage multiple activities; able to work independently.
• Punctual, professional, patient and enthusiastic; good collaboration skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Competency Requirements:

• 1. Bachelor/ Master of Science in Architecture (Part II)


• 2. Registered with Board of Architects Malaysia


• 3. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, 3D Rendering software (e.g. Revit, Google SketchUp, etc.)


• 4. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Malay


• 5. Possess driving license and able to drive


• 6. In-depth knowledge of architecture specifications, standards, and codes


• 7. Good leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills


• 8. Be adaptable and work independently coupled with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills


• 9. Self-motivated, diligent and team player quality to achieve common goals


• 10. Able to plan, organise, and manage multiple activities
